PROGRAM BIG SOUTH MOROCCO
DAY 1: MARRAKECH / AGDZ / ZAGORA.
Departure to Zagora through the High Atlas. Passing through the neck of Tizin'Tichka located at 2260 m and point road culminating in Morocco. Crossing the Anti Atlas to Agdz the Tizi N 'Tinififft (1660 m).
Agdz stop and continuation to Zagora: The city was regarded in the past as a stopover on the road to Timbuktu, 52 days Camels. Its rocky peak, the city controls the Draa Valley. The Almoravids had built in the eleventh century a fortress to monitor tracks Sahara. Zagora is a very important step to discover the hinterland and the sand dunes, in fact the first dunes are only 26 km from the city.
Day 2 : ZAGORA / TAMGROUT / MHAMID / DUNES CHEGAGA.
Departure for Tamegroute religious center known for its library with its books, manuscripts and precious Korans written on gazelle skin. Visit the potters' quarter. Continuation dunes Cheggaga, the output Tagounite, Wadi Draa loses power and the oases that mark the course become increasingly sparse. DAY 3 : DUNES CHEGAGA / FOUM ZGUID / TAZNAKHT / OUARZAZATE.
After breakfast, depart for a tour on foot through the landscape is arid and desert along Djbel Bani. Then continue on 4x4 Foum Zguid. Before heading back towards Ouarzazate via Tazenakht. Arrival in Ouarzazate late afternoon.
DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE / TELOUET / MARRAKECH.
